Searchme is an online identity created by me, for me.

Who am I

Fantasy

With the advent of the internet in the early 90's, came people's need to mass communicate. AOL user populations skyrocketed with the simplistic packaging, navagting and conectivity most internet beginers wanted and needed. That was the beginning. A lonely and confused nameless number on an enigmatic road yet to be completed.

One of the simplest questions of internet life today mistified. "Member Identity" Who was I? Who did I want to be? Who did I want to do? Answer those questions, and the world embraces you. "Searchme"

Unbeknownst to me, my journey into self-examination would not be the topic of discussion, but among a few fellow travelers. Instead, a questioning moniker was questioned "Would you like a strip search, or cavity?" And so became my career as an internet jiggalo, cop, fugitive, and lastly, soul searcher.

Reality

OK, so it's alittle lame, even for a fantasy, but I made it, let me destroy it.

Anyways, Hi, my name is Joe. I'll be going by the pen name of Joe I. for all future contributions here. I was born and raised mostly in Texas. Both of my parents were in the military, so I did move a few times. Texas tho is my home and there's no better place to be.

I struggled thru my school years with teachers saying I'm gifted and need to be challenged, while all I wanted to do was play and be a kid(even in high school). Academics came second to fun, girls, sports, tv, and family. Of course I ended up getting expelled my senior year in high school. But, I still graduated before my class with a diploma. :)

And where do military brats go after high school? The military. Marine Corps to be exact. SEMPER FI! I became an avionics tech on Hueys and Cobras(helicopters), traveled the world and still wanted more, so I opted out. I kinda wish I hadn't now, because I'd love to be in Iraq. No, really.

Now after floating from a few jobs, I think I've found a career. Knock on wood. I'm curently a lab tech for a centifugally cast steel foundry. There's room for advancement, and education reimbursment. Which is nice cause I do want a PhD.

I've a wonderful family and a sweetheart girl. We were high school sweethearts till I left for California, but have since found each other again. (aahh, how sweet)

Anyways, if you read this whole thing, thanks. I didn't wanna write this for nothing. Enough about me for now, on with the show.
