Nepenthes surigaoensis is a pitcher plant native to the Philippines. It is named after the historical Surigao Province on the island of Mindanao, where the type specimen was collected. N. surigaoensis is closely related to N. merrilliana and was for a long time considered a heterotypic synonym of this species.[2]
