Lori Fung

Lori Fung Methorst (born February 21, 1963, Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian gymnastics coach and retired rhythmic gymnast.
At the 1984 Summer Olympics, she was the first gold medal winner awarded for the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics. She was a coach for the Canadian National Team, U.S.A. National Team, and Mexican National Team. She is currently a director and coach for Club Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics in British Columbia.
She had a part in the film Catwoman as an aerial ballerina.
She married Dean Methorst and has three sons: Cole, Alexander, and Nicholas.
Honours
- In 1985, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
- In 1985, she was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
- In 1990, she was awarded the Order of British Columbia.
- In 2004, she was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
