STAR Jalsha, the newest Bengali General Entertainment channel, owned by STAR TV. Provides an array of differentiated programming, fiction, non-fiction programmes, mythology movies and reality show for the resurging Bengali viewer [1] It is a 24-hour free-to-air channel, and was launched on September 8 2008.
