The Canton of Saint-Martin-de-Ré is a French administrative division situated in the département of Charente-Maritime and the region of Poitou-Charentes.
Geography
The canton is organized around the Île de Ré of the arrondissement de La Rochelle. The altitude varies all the way from 0 m (La Flotte) to 17 m (Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré) but the average altitude is 8 m (about 8.8 yards high).
