William Bertram Turrill OBE (14 June 1890, Woodstock Oxfordshire-15 December 1961, Surrey) was an English botanist.

W B Turrill's mathematical classification of leaf shapes

He worked in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and was responsible for many innovations including a mathematical classification of leaf shapes.

He received the Order of the British Empire in 1955 and the gold medal of the Linnean Society in 1958.
