The Chevrolet Apollo is a car produced by Chevrolet and Holden. It was sold in Europe as a Holden, and in parts of Asia wearing the Chevrolet badge. The Apollo was based on the Toyota Camry between 1989 and 1997 - and was similar to the Holden version sold in Australia

The Apollo after 1997

After 1997, the Apollo name continued, on a version of the Opel Vectra (1988-95) design. It was offered as a four-door saloon or five-door hatchback. A choice of 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 4-cylinder and 2.5-litre V6 engines were on offer. This was sold as a Holden in Europe and sold well in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
