I belive that the Bible is God's written word, and therefore everything in it is true. Everyone does wrong, these wrong things we do are called sin. When we sin we are condemed to an eternity pf death and suffering. Jesus came to earth and he lived a life without ever sinning so he could die in our place so those who have faith don't have to suffer for all of eternity.
