'Barossa Deutsch' refers to a hybrid dialect of German, spoken in and around the Barossa Valley in South Australia. The long-standing German influence in the Barossa Valley dates back to the 1840s when the first German settlers arrived in the area.

'Barossa Deutsch', derived from German and English, remains closer to standard German than the analogous Pennsylvanian Dutch still spoken in the United States.
