I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but grew up in Wausau. I moved to Texas five years ago to make my living as a librarian.
Education
- I spent the first thirteen years of my schooling in the American public school system. I received an excellent education and feel that public schools are an essential component of the republic.
- As part of my high school career, I received an International Baccalaureate diploma. I did my extended essay on Nikos Kazantzakis, which I shouldn't have been able to as I wrote it in English.
- I attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I majored in history and anthropology, and was graduated with a B.A. in 1997.
- For my librarianship training, I attended the University of Wisconsin.
Wikipedia
I wrote my first article from scratch on Quiddler in late November 2004. I was unfortunately not logged in at the time and using a friend's computer. While their are certain articles I "watch", I am chiefly a trolling editor. Some of my particular concerns in Wikipedia are:
- Wisconsin generally and Door County specifically
- Lawrence University
- Wichita Falls and its place in the world
- the British Royal Family
Please also see my future plans below.
After going through all the easy entries in Articles to Split, I've reduced my time there to once a month. My other monthly visits are to replace nearly all occurences of:
- Muslim-American with "American Muslim"
- "girl's name" with "feminine given name" or "feminine personal name"
- "boy's name" with "masculine given name" or "masculine personal name"
- neé with née
I will be adding more to this list.
Credits

Future plans
In the future, I plan to systematically develop:
- the French Huguenot colonies of Fort Caroline and Charlesfort
- pages dealing with Anne McCaffrey's Pern, which will require help
- the Americana-infused 'classical music' by Edgar Meyer, Mark O'Connor, Béla Fleck, and others, which will also require help
- I have started this project by building album-stub pages for The Telluride Sessions, Appalachia Waltz, Appalachian Journey, Short Trip Home, and Uncommon Ritual. Album-stubs for Music for Two, and Perpetual Motion and the several classical recordings by Mark O'Connor still remain.
