Danny Phantom
Danny Phantom is an animated television series created by Nickelodeon which debuted April of 2004.
The title character, Danny, is a teenager who is half-human and half-ghost, after a lab accident with his father's unpredictable "Fenton Portal," which acts as a portal between the human world and the supernatural world or "Ghost Zone."
Butch Hartman (who also created The Fairly OddParents) created the show, and as a result, the style of animation, some of the minor characters, and the sound effects are very similar, the difference being that the plot and story are continuous.
Characters
About Daniel "Danny" Fenton/Danny Phantom
Danny is the show's protagonist and main character. One day in his parents' laboratory, Danny has an accident involving the newly built "Fenton Portal" and his molecular structure was (apparently) fused with ectoplasm allowing him to transform from ghost to human at will. As a human, Danny Fenton looks normal enough. He is a nervous, clumsy 14-year-old boy who tries to fit in with the crowd. But as a ghost, his hair turns white, his clothes turn black and "Danny Phantom" gains a number of new supernatural powers. In either form, Danny (as well as all other humans) can see, hear, and talk to other paranormal beings, as well as battle them. The only exception is when Danny or another ghost turns themselves invisible, which they can do at will, but is not their normal form. To save his friends and family, Danny frequently battles with various ghosts. Danny has told nobody except his friends about being half ghost, and struggles to hide his ghost identity. There have been several hints throughout the series that he has feelings for Sam (Samantha), one of his best friends. However, he also develops a close relationship with Valerie during Reign Storm.

Family
- Jasmine "Jazz" Fenton
- Danny's older sister in the Danny Phantom television series. Her official biography introduces her:
Jazz Fenton - Danny may have the super powers in his family, but Jazz has the looks, the brains, and the social skills. Being the older sister and all, Jazz keeps Danny's big secret. Not only because she's Danny's older sister, but because she has to maintain a perfect image in front of her friends and school-mates.
Though viewers have never seen her with any of her own friends or colleagues at home or school, Jazz has a brilliant mind and studies child psychology; she is frequently trying to stop her parents from thinking about and fighting ghosts in favor of a more normal career. Jazz tends to act a little cold to others, or as Danny put it, like "a conceited snob"; but the viewer often sees a kinder, more compassionate Jazz (even when no one else does), especially in regards to Danny and her parents. She has even referred to herself as, My Brother's Keeper. Jazz found out about Danny's dual identities when she saw caught him transforming without his knowledge with his signature battle cry, "Going Ghost". At first Jazz tried to question Sam and Tucker, Danny's friends, but she soon realized that they would not betray Danny's secret. Later, when Danny rescued her while in ghost form, Jazz pretended to be scared of him and runs away, and is later heard saying "He'll tell me when he's ready." Danny didn't know that Jazz was aware of his Ghost Status, and Jazz has often covered for him when he's out capturing ghosts. "What ever he's doing, I'm sure it has nothing to do with ghosts". Danny discovered that Jazz knew after the events of The Ultimate Enemy.
- Jack & Maddie Fenton
- Danny and Jazz's parents, and enthusiastic/fanatic "professional ghost hunters"; but they are oblivious to their son's human/ghost hybrid status.
Jack and Maddie are usually seen trying to prove the existence of ghosts, trying to capture one for scientific study, building devices to track, capture, and take down ghosts (they seem to like using ectoplasm against ghosts as it is what ghosts are made of and seems to have the best effect when fighting them.
Maddie is an accomplished martial artist as well as marksman and technical whizz. Jack is an adequate fighter with great strength and courage as well as a good amount of technical knowledge, but can often be clumsy and incompetent. Both parents are extremely dedicated to their family as well as to their pursuit of ghosts. Both wear hazmat suits(with Maddie usually wearing goggles as well) even when they aren't hunting ghosts.
Fenton Products
The Fentons have invented a wealth of products that are intended to help them with their goals of capturing and defeating ghosts. Most of them are used primarily by Maddie and Jack, although Danny has been known to "borrow" some of them from time to time.
- Fenton Ghost Portal – The Fenton Ghost Portal is a door into the Ghost Zone; However it is normally kept closed by a barrier across the front (similiar to the Iris from Stargate); Danny was standing inside the Ghost Portal when it activated and fused Danny with Ectoplasm, giving him ghost powers.
- Fenton Thermos – "Designed to capture ghosts. It doesn't work yet, so it's just a thermos. A thermos with the word Fenton in front of it!" To Jack's knowledge it does not work; however Danny managed to complete it and it is one of his primary weapons against renegade ghosts. The ghost must usually first be weakened before it can be captured within the Fenton Thermos. Danny then releases the ghost back into the Ghost Zone through the Ghost Portal.
- Fenton Xtractor – A vacuum-type device that extracts a ghost from a human.
- Fenton Finder – A device that locates ghosts.
- Fenton Grappler – A retractable grappling hook device that, when fired, shoots out a special net that ghosts cannot escape from.
- Fenton Ghost Fisher – First seen in Parental Bonding—a high-tech, retractable fishing rod with a specialized line that is unbreakable and inescapable to ghosts, though on several occasions ghosts have done both.
- Ghost Gabber – "It translates the strange sounds ghosts make and turns them into words you and I use every day!" For some reason (perhaps technical problems), it adds the words "fear me" to the end of every sentence. Since most ghosts speak English, there is little need for the Gabber.
- Ghost Weasel – A device designed to suck up ghost energy; on reverse it can shoot it back into the Ghost Zone.
- Fenton Ghost Gloves – Gloves that are so powerful that nothing can break their grip, allowing the wearer to handle ghosts and/or ghost-powered beings.
- Fenton Ghost Catcher – Another ghost-removing device that separates a ghost from whoever it is possessing. It resembles a huge dream catcher. In What You Want, Danny accidentally flew through it, causing him and his Phantom form to be temporarily and briefly separated. In "Identity Crisis", he split himself fully in order to multitask, and in the process seperated his personality.
- Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle/RV – An RV with many nifty, built-in ghost catching gadgets.
- Specter Speeder – A vehicle that has the ability to fly throughout the Ghost Zone, allowing people to enter the Ghost Zone without being harmed by the resident ghosts.
- Fenton Ghost Peeler – A device designed by Jack and Maddie Fenton to encase its holder in body armour and then blast ghosts with a ray that then peels it open like an onion. Jazz has used this on more than one occasion.
- Fenton Stockades – A metal, coffin-like device with spikes inside, similiar to an iron maiden, but apparently without the whole getting stabbed and dying thing. It's applications to ghost-hunting is unknown. Jack was stuck in there as punishment from his kids for attending an Ember McLain concert.
- Fenton Phones – First seen in Fanning the Flames, Fenton Phones serve both as a ghost noise filter (to prevent the wearer from falling under the influence of "ghost noise," such as Ember's song), and as walkie talkie "accessory" for Danny, Sam, and Tucker.
- Fenton Helmet – A remote control helmet Danny uses to play computer games (no ghost hunting qualities).
- Fenton Foamer – Ejects green ectoplasmic goo which clears an area that has ghosts.
- Fenton Genetic Lock – Closes the Fenton Portal until one of the Fentons puts his or her thumb on the pad, unlocking it.
- Fenton Specter Deflector – A belt that repels and weakens any ghost that comes in direct contact of the person wearing it.
- Jack-A-Nine-Tails – a Nine-Tail Whip, like a Cat o' nine tails only modified for ghost catching.
- Fenton Bazooka – Shoots a green substance into the air, which creates a mini portal into the Ghost Zone.
- Ecto-Skeleton – A battle suit that increases the user's natural ability by an incredible amount. Unfortunately the interface is buggy and could be fatal as it can absorb the user's life force energy. When Danny used it in his ghost form, he was able to transform the entire suit into ghost form, as it was connected directly to his brain. Its outer casing design altered to Danny Phantom's suit colors and logo. After Danny used it in a fight and was knocked unconscious, it was stolen, presumably by Vlad.
- Booooomerang – A boomerang that locks onto a ghost and hits them. It seemed to imprint itself on Danny and only go after him and no other ghost, including his future self, which presumably had different DNA.
There are also other minor inventions the Fentons have created to help make their lives more comfortable (or interesting):
- Fenton Urinal – Not much more than a toilet.
- Fenton Unlodger – A device that gets objects unstuck.
- Fenton Anti-Creep Stick – A baseball bat with the word 'Fenton' on it.
- Fenton Machete – A Jungle Sword/Machete.
- Fenton Wipe – Toilet paper with Jack Fenton's face imprinted onto every square.
There is also one very helpful invention not invented by the Fentons, and that is Tucker's PDA.
Functions (there may be more):
- The functions of any normal PDA (day planner)
- Access to games such as Pong and Space Dudes.
- Communication device.
- Television.
- Ghost compatibility.
- Can hack into electric devices, such as security cameras, and disable them.
- Ability to beam informaion to other PDAs.
- Possible Internet access.
- Camera.
There was also a second PDA, which got destroyed in 'One of a Kind'. This PDA supposedly had all the same functions as the first, but since it got destroyed this doesn't really matter.
Danny's usual archnemesis, Vlad Plasmius, has also invented some ghost-fighting equipment, though less and not as often used.
Danny's Best Friends
- Tucker 'Tuck' Foley
- Danny's best friend—next to Sam, that is. This African-American boy is nicknamed as 'Sucker' or 'Bad Luck Tuck' by the popular kids. He would do almost anything to get a date with a cute girl. He loves technology and cannot live without it. Unfortunately, he does not know when to keep his mouth shut, which gets him into trouble. He also is a carnivore, as heard in the episode Mystery Meat.
- Samantha "Sam" Manson
- One of Danny's best friends. She is a goth (much to her parents' hatred of the goth subculture). Her parents are extremely wealthy, having inherited from a great inventor, although she keeps this a secret. According to her, she wants to earn real friends, rather than the popularity and fake friendships that comes with wealth. Also, Sam is not spoiled, despite her parents being wealthy. Sam designed the new logo for Danny's uniform, which is seen in every following episode. She has a secret crush on Danny despite her claims of them being just platonic friends. Sam is a vegetarian but has developed a respect for meat-eaters. It is believed that she and Valerie Grey are both secretly battling for the affections of Danny. Sam tends to be the most clear-headed one in emergency situations and often helps get the others out of trouble (although it is Danny's powers that ultimately win the battles). She is voiced by Grey Delisle.
Citizens of Amity Park
- Amity Park
- The town takes its name from Amityville, in keeping with the shows very soft horror/paranormal theme.
- Mr. Lancer
- An English teacher and Vice-Principal at Danny's school, Casper High (another ghost reference). He often uses the titles of books as exclamations (for example, "Moby Dick! I've lost my pants!", and "Gulliver's Travels! I'm losing my mind! And my pants!"). He looks on most of the student body as troublemakers, especially since he's usually caught in the middle of their shenanigans. Despite this, he genuinely cares for his students education and does what he can to help them succeed in life. He is voiced by Ron Perlman.
- Dashiel 'Dash' Baxter
- Most popular guy in the school. Quarterback of the football team, Dash can get away with just about anything, and usually does. He is a bully towards many in the school, Danny especially, and often goes out of his way to make Danny's life difficult. Danny has been known to use his ghost powers to get revenge on Dash. Danny's powers have revealed certain disturbing things about Dash, like the fact that Dash secretly collects stuffed bears.
- Kwan
- A football player who is usually seen hanging around with Dash. It often seems that Kwan is the more rational of the two. Like Dash, Kwan bullies Danny around but acts nicer than most of the other popular kids in Casper High.
- Paulina
- A Cheerleader and the most popular girl at Casper High School. Danny thinks she is incredibly beautiful and spends a lot of time fawning over her and trying to impress her (or at least to get her attention). She doesn't like him because he isn't popular. (Though she loves his alter-ego, Danny Phantom, or "Inviso-Bill," as she knows him.) Sam usually gets angry (jealous) when Danny is involved with Paulina.
Human Villains and Ghosts
Here is the list of the Human villains and ghosts (good and bad, major and minor) that have appeared so far in the order of their appearance:
The Ectopusses
Octopus-like ghosts and one of the first ghosts that Danny Phantom fought in the show.
The Lunch Lady Ghost
First appearance: "Mystery Meat". A ghost who haunted the school cafeteria at Casper High, she loves lunch and feels that meat is the most important part of any meal. She seems sweet-tempered normally, but has violent mood swings if her menu is questioned, challenged, or changed. In addition to power over all things pertaining to lunch, she can also control meat, to the point of forming it around herself as a giant meat monster. She was incensed when Sam changed the school's lunch menu to be compatable with Ultra-Recyclo-Vegetarianism, and was the first ghost captured in the Fenton Thermos by Danny ("Mystery Meat"). In "Prisoners of Love", she was seen serving lunch in the cafeteria in Walker's prison. While she did not appear herself in "The Ultimate Enemy", it was revealed that in the alternate timeline of that episode she has had a child with the Box Ghost, called Box Lunch.
The Dragon Ghost
A young ghost princess doomed to always wear the Cursed Amulet of Aragon, which turns its wearer into a fierce Ghost Dragon, but only when the person becomes stressed or angered. Once the amulet is off, the person wearing it returns to normal with no memory of their time as a ghost (although they may experience some dizziness or disorientation). As it mostly affects women, it is mostly seen on the ghost princess, however the Amulet has possessed Paulina and Sam as well. In "Reign Storm", Sidney Poindexter was riding it.
The Box Ghost
Mostly non-dangerous ghost who is "master of all things cardboard and square". He was likely at some time a person who put together cardboard boxes. He often shouts, "I am the Box Ghost! Beware!" and repeats it when he is defeated or leaves a room. He tends to be a weak, non-threatening ghost, which sometimes provokes other ghosts to use him to their advantage (for example, Skulker once used him as bait). In Reign Storm he gains the weapon of bubble wrap. He is a fan favorite, and his fan love even rivals Danny's. In the alternate timeline shown in The Ultimate Enemy he and the Lunch Lady Ghost will have a child named Box Lunch. His future self was much stronger and more dangerous, having an eye patch and a strange hook in place of his right hand.
Skulker
A ghost who introduces himself as a great predator. He hunts down rare and unusual items, and he fancies himself as a collector of all things rare and unique. He wears high-tech battle armour and is often seen in the services of Vlad Plasmius. Skulker was first seen in One of a Kind. Having sighted Danny Phantom he had planned to capture and add him to his collection. When he eyed the technology of Tucker Foley's PDA, Skulker seized the PDA and integrated it into his battle armour. The PDA made the battle armour work more efficiently, but also bound the armour to a schedule programmed into the PDA by Tucker for Danny. Skulker's newly outfitted battle armor would then send Skulker to observe or acquire various information about the "Rare Purple-Backed Gorilla," a schedule which Skulker could not reprogram and proved to be a lifesaver for an unprepared Danny on more than one occasion. However, this never stopped Skulker from continuing his quest to capture Danny Phantom. Inside the suit, he's a small green blob with short arms and legs and a squeaky little voice. It was later revealed that Skulker was sent by Vlad Plasmius, and the two often work together, such as when Vlad paid for Skulker's ghost-energy neutrilizer. In the alternate future, he has fused with Technus. He was first voiced by Matthew St. Patrick and later by Kevin Michael Richardson.
Nicolai Technus
A recurring ghost and the self-proclaimed "Master of Technology (All Things Electronic and Beeping)". Mostly all of the time, he always talks about himself Like " I Technus ....".In reality he is more of a "Master of Really Long-Winded Speeches," as he spends more time gloating about his evil plans than he does executing those plans. Technus has the ability to control and merge togther with technology, similar the Lunch Lady, only no meat. He can also enter software, such as when he invaded a video game. In Identity Crisis, he returned as a newer version called Technus 2.0 who didn't broadcast his plans. In the alternate future, he has fused with Skulker. Although he sounds like he is voiced by Gilbert Gottfried, he is actually voiced by Rob Paulsen.
Sidney Poindexter
The ghost of a 1950s nerdy teenager, Sidney was trapped in an unchanging world of 1950s ghost bullies within a mirror in Casper High. Desperate to get out and get revenge on bullies everywhere, Sidney tricked Danny into switching places with him, trapping Danny's ghost form in the mirror while he possessed Danny's human body. Sidney was finally able to earn the respect of his classmates when he "defeated" Danny in the 1950's ghost world. Sidney has much of the same powers as Danny, only not as powerful and not as many. He later returns in "Reign Storm" where he combines his power with Danny Phantom's to stop Pariah Dark. Also, in "Reign Storm", he was seen riding The Dragon Ghost.
Desiree
An age-old ghost/genie that was originally a human Arabian girl. She was apparently involved with a sultan, who promised to fulfil her heart's desire, but was banished by the Sultan's jealous wife and eventually died of a broken heart (and old age). Desiree now travels the world as a ghost, granting anyone's deepest desires (wishes and desires expressed verbally i.e. "I wish ..." or "I want ..."). This includes Tucker's jealousy over Danny's incredible powers. However, the granted wish continues to feed the person's desire and grows as the desire grows, in an unstopping, dangerous circle. Pronounced /dezəreɪ/ (see IPA chart for English).
Vladimir "Vlad" Masters/Vlad Plasmius
Easily Danny's arch enemy, Vlad Masters was a human who went to college with both of Danny's parents and spent a good deal of time with them during their college years. Eventually he fell in love with Maddie. Maddie, however, did not return his affections (as hers were directed towards Jack). One day while working with the Fentons in their lab, there was an accident which gave Vlad ghost powers (similar to how Danny got his ghost powers, though with a smaller portal). The accident forced him to spend the next few years in a hospital, with visible "Ecto-Acne." He then spent the next 20 years developing his ghost powers. Independently wealthy due to them, he now spends most of his time coming up with plans to destroy Jack Fenton (and win back Maddie), as well as use his money and powers for personal gain, which are usually foiled by Danny. He often sends other ghosts to implement his plans as well as ghost-hunting equipment to other ghost-catchers (in an attempt to bring down Danny). He sent Valerie all of her ghost-hunting equipment. He seems to have plans to make Danny his protege, but Danny has not acknowledged them for the most part. For most of this time, he lived in his mansion in Wisconsin (which he can replace), until he accidentally blew it up after his Ghost Portal exploded from lack of Ecto-Filtrator changing. Vlad's advantage over Danny is his twenty years of experience, while Danny has only recently obtained his ghost powers. Vlad is also a huge Packers fan.
In the alternate future, he still lives in Wisconsin, but in a cave. There, he told Danny the true story after the incident at the Nasty Burger. At Vlad's insistence, Danny was the only person to live with him, but he wanted to make the emotional pain go away. In the lab, Vlad used the Ghost Gauntlets to extract Danny's ghost form, which then attacked Vlad. As the ghost used the Ghost Gauntlets on Vlad, thus extracting his ghost form, the ghost started to fuse with Vlad's ghost form, which created Dark Danny. He also helped the present Danny return to the present by using the Ghost Gauntlet again to extract Clockwork's medallion from his body.
The Vulture Ghosts
- The three Vulture Ghosts are the main servants of Vlad Plasmius. They are about 2008 years old, each. Generally, only one of them speaks; he has a stereotypical 'old man' voice.
The Dairy King's Ghost
First appearance: "Bitter Reunions". The ghost of the Dairy King who once lived where Vlad Masters' castle presently stands/stood. When he frees Danny from Skulker's ghost-power-negating cube, he tells Danny that not all ghosts are evil, some just wanna be left alone, don'cha'know. He seems unlikely to re-appear.
Walker
A very strict white-faced vigilante ghost and warden who runs the prison of the Ghost Zone with the help of numerous lackeys. In Prisoners of Love, Danny is sentenced to 1000 years in the prison for violating one of Walker's rules (Danny allegedly brought a non-ghost item into the Ghost Zone). Most of Walker's "rules" are made up off of the top of his head and change as the situation demands. However, Danny escaped while at the same time letting loose every ghost in the prison. Walker later returns for revenge in Public Enemies with the statement that if Danny would not come to his prison, Walker would turn Danny's home against him.
Penelope Spectra
A ghost that has found the ability to stay young by sapping the life energy from humans. The victim, however, must be in a depressed and tired state in order for this to be effective. Penelope Spectra first appeared in the form of a human counselor at Casper High hoping to feed off the students there. She also returned in Doctor's Disorders, in which ghost beetles were absorbing into many students of Casper High, into which getting the latest in teen genetics to make her beautiful again.
Bertrand
Penelope Spectra's shape-shifting assistant. As Penelope builds people's depressions, Betrand extracts the life energy from them.
Valerie Gray
First seen in Parental Bonding, Valerie is a human girl at Casper High, whom Tucker has a huge crush on. Once a popular girl at Casper High, Valerie Gray was part of the "in" crowd with Paulina, Dash, Kwan, etc. until the appearance of a huge ghost dog at Axion where her father Damon has a security contract with. The ghost dog trashed the place and her dad was fired; Valerie ended up with little money and less popularity. Later Tucker reveals to her that the dog is actually a ghost and tells her of his knowledge of ghosts (which supposedly comes from Danny's parents). Valerie dedicates herself to learning how to hunt ghosts. She soon mysteriously receives a number of advanced ghost hunting technology (from Vlad Plasmius). Upon encountering the "ghost kid", Danny Phantom, Valerie vows to hunt him down and destroy him. Later, in Life Lessons Danny and Valerie are forced to work together against Skulker, who has trouble deciding which of the two to hunt after seeing them battle (against each other) and decides to hunt both. The two form a tenuous truce. During Reign Storm, she and Danny forge a friendship, leading to her new crush on Danny. However in this episode Danny, while in his ghost form, reveals her ghost-hunting identity to her father, causing her major trouble and extreme bitterness towards "Danny Phantom".
An alternate version of her was also seen in The Ultimate Enemy where she is grown up and still fighting ghosts as the sole protector of the future Amity Park (along with her dad, who apparently is taking residence in the now abandoned Fenton home). Valerie's grudge against Danny (now Dark Danny ), of course, had only intensified in that timeline. Though after being rescued by the past Danny, she mentions he was "still kinda cute" hinting she may have found out his secert at some point. She is currently battling Sam for the affections of "Danny Fenton".
Ghost Dog
A puppy when playful, but full-grown when vicious. It was responsible for trashing the Axion company. No matter how many times Danny returned it to the Ghost Zone, it kept coming back. Eventually, when Danny discovers its chew toy, the Ghost Dog took it and disappeared back into the Ghost Zone. Sometimes referred to as 'Cujo', after the dog in the Stephen King story of the same name.
Klemper
Not much is known about Klemper, except he is on the same uselessness scale as The Box Ghost. With The Box Ghost being obsessed with boxes, Klemper wants to be friends with everyone. He has icy cold breath that can freeze almost anything and is constantly wearing red and white striped pajamas.
Ember McLain
A hard-rocking girl ghost that gains power when "fans" cheer her name (and her ponytail gets longer). Her age is unconfirmed, but she is most likely a teenager like Danny. Her song, "Remember", can be heard on [1], under "Audio." She is one of the most popular ghosts on the series. In Pirate Radio, her music was to enslave many adults in a pirate ship, in which she also worked with Youngblood. In the episode The Ultimate Enemy, Danny of the "present" in the alternate future damaged Ember's vocal cords, causing her to become a mute and become obese.
Fright Knight
The Spirit of Halloween whose sword, the Soul Shredder, causes people to experience their greatest fears. His major weakness is that he is sent back to the ghost zone if someone (namely Danny) puts his sword inside a pumpkin and says the incantation to send him back. He is also one of the Ghost King's loyal servants. He is now under the services of Vlad Plasmius. In the alternate future, he works for Phantom (Dark Danny). He is voiced by Michael Dorn
Johnny 13
Making appearances in 13 and Lucky in Love, Johnny is a classic '50s biker with bad luck. His shadow spreads this luck to others, especially teen women. He has a girlfriend, Kitty who is very attached to him. Kitty once possessed Paulina and, as Paulina, dated Danny (even discovering Danny's ghost form), in order to get back at Johnny (and make him jealous). Once Danny found out, he coordinated a fake fight with Johnny that would bring out Kitty's true feelings. In the alternate future, he is in a wheelchair because of Phantom (Dark Danny).
Kitty
Johnny 13's girlfriend who unwittingly causes trouble for Danny. She gets very jealous when Johnny's eyes roam to other girls.
Bullet
Not much is known about this ghost except that he is Walker's main henchmen and is very strict like him.
Wulf
A werewolf-like ghost who can use his claws to rip into (or out of) the real world at will. Walker apprehended him to help hunt down Danny Phantom. He later befriend Danny and sacrificed himself to get Walker back into the Ghost Zone. He is fluent in Esperanto, which is his primary language, however he can speak a few phrases in english.
Freakshow
A human villain that runs the Circus Gothika, a goth circus. He possess and uses a staff with a ruby crystal ball that has the ability to control ghosts (as well as halfas like Danny) which he uses as his pawns for circus performing and crime sprees. He only successfully controlled Danny Phantom once, giving him red eyes and an evil undertone to his voice. Circus Gothika is very similar to the acrobatics show, Cirque du Soleil. Freakshow got arrested in the ending of his debut episode, Control Freaks. It's unlikely that he will make a comeback for revenge.
Captain Youngblood
A ten-year old pirate ghost and the captain of a ghost pirate ship. However, he doesn't know much about pirate lingo and his parrot often helps him out with that. He has the ability to shoot ectoplasmic beams out of his hook and his peg-leg can turn into a cannon. He teamed up with Ember once. His appearance is a combination between Cosmo and Timmy Turner.
Pariah Dark
First appearing in Reign Storm, Pariah Dark is the King of all Ghosts, with control of the powerful Ring of Rage and Crown of Fire. While wearing both of these items, Pariah Dark has near limitless power. He commands the Fright Knight as well as an army of Skeletal ghosts. In the distant past, in a last ditch effort to dethrone him and end his tyranny, a group of ancient ghosts successfully removed the Ring of Rage from him and imprisoned him in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep. He was reawkened when Vlad Plasmius unlocked the Sarcophagus with the Ghost Skeleton Key in a plot to get both the Ring of Rage and the Crown of Fire for himself. The plot backfired and Pariah Dark reawakened, with a vengeance to rule the Ghost Zone, and even the real world, with an iron fist once more. It takes the combined powers and ingenuity of Danny Phantom and his friends, Valerie, Vlad Plasmius and almost every other ghost Danny knows (and even some he doesn't) to defeat him again.
Clockwork
First appeared in "The Ultimate Enemy" which was both a TV movie and the first Danny Phantom video game, for the Game Boy Advance. Clockwork is a ghost who oversees time and has time based powers. He works with a pair of the Observants, ghosts who look over the ghost zone sends on a mission to destroy Danny because they had seen the alternate future in which he becomes Phantom. Clockwork instead tests and guides Danny, ultimately preventing the alternate future. His appearance can also randomly shift between boy, man, and old man.
Observants
A pair of ghosts whose faces are nothing more than large eyes. They monitor the timestream, and were the first to discover the eventual emergence of Phantom/Dark Danny, the evil future version of Danny. They alerted Clockwork, master of time, to the disturbance, and tried to convince him to get rid of Danny. However, they proved wrong in their calculations, as Clockwork later explains: "The Observants look at time like they're watching a parade. One thing after another, passing in sequence right in front of them. I see the parade from above, and see all the twists and turns it might-or might not-take." They later accused Clockwork of influencing Danny's choice, or in other words "cheating". They have delegated him the responsibility of keeping an eye on both Dannys, and only time-no pun intended-will tell if they appear again. Clockwork is not at all fond of their bossiness, as illustrated by a farewell statement: "Care to observe the door?"
Dark Danny/Phantom
A possible series of events results in an alternate timeline in which Danny's Family, along with Sam, Tucker, and Mr. Lancer are killed in an explosion accidentally caused by Danny. Having no other place to go, he went to live with Vlad Masters. In an attempt to ease Danny's suffering, Vlad separates Danny's ghost half from his human half, but the ghost half then attacks Vlad, separating him into human and ghost halves as well. Danny's ghost half then attempts to absorb Vlad's ghost half, but the evil overtakes him, merging into a new being known as Phantom (or Dark Danny). The out of control Phantom murders Danny and destroys Vlad's mansion, then goes on a decade-long rampage of destruction, forcing cities to be protected by ghost shields. However, he can damage the ghost shield generators by using a new power he discovered, the Ghostly Wail. During his rampage, he injured Johnny 13 (forcing him to stay in a wheelchair) and also silenced Ember by using his ghost powers to damage her vocal cords.
When Danny, Sam, and Tucker went to the future, they encountered Phantom who fused one of Clockwork's medallions into present-time Danny so that he would be unable to return to his time. Phantom then went to the past (present) disguised as his 14-year-old self, although Jazz found out it was him. Then, after Phantom revealed his identity to his parents, present-time Danny came back and defeated Phantom, and Clockwork froze time to prevent the deaths of Danny's loved ones, sent Danny back to before the test and took Phantom back to his home. Phantom is currently trapped in the Fenton Thermos, now under the watch of Clockwork as he exists outside of time. This allows for the possibility of a return. His apperance is similar to Vlad Plasmius (with Danny's face) due to the merging.
Box Lunch
She is the possible future daughter of the Lunch Lady Ghost and the Box Ghost. She can control meat and boxes like her parents, she also speaks similarly to them. She first appears in "The Ultimate Enemy," used by Clockwork to test Danny.
Skultech 9.9
A possible future version of Skulker using Technus as his operating system. They are much stronger together than they are apart, but Tucker can still hack into their system with his PDA.

Theme Song
(He's a phantom!)
(Danny Phantom, Danny Phantom!)
Yo, Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen,
When his parents built a very stange machine.
It was designed to view a world unseen!
(He's gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom!)
When it didn't quite work, his folks, they just quit,
Then Danny took a look inside of it.
There was a great big flash, everything just changed,
His molecules got all rearranged!
(Phantom, Phantom!)
When he first woke up, he realized,
He had snow white hair and glowing green eyes.
He could walk through walls, disappear and fly!
He was much more unique than the other guys.
It was then that he knew what he had to do:
He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through.
He's here to fight for me and you!
He's gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom!
Gotta catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom!
Gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's ...(Danny Phantom!)
In Doctor's Disorders and all following episodes, the theme song video changed a bit by added Danny's special "D" logo, even though technically he didn't have it when he first gained his ghost powers.
