Rafael Jaques

Rafael Jaques (not Jacques) (born December 31, 1971 in Porto Alegre), was a Brazilian footballer who played for the Seville based side Real Betis. He was formed in Gremio Porto Alegre, and he played with Araçatuba, Goiás Esporte Clube and Goiatuba in Brazil. He moved to Japan to play in the Second Division with Honda, where when was the topscorer getting the transfer to Real Betis for the season 98-99. He was a tall forward but he couldn't show his skills in the Spanish Liga (1 goal in 4 matches), being loan to Rayo Vallecano (Second Division) in the middle of the season, and then sold to Sao Paulo. Later he has played for Sport Recife, Guaraní, Uniao Leiria (Portugal), Marítimo de Funchal (Portugal), CFC Brasilia, CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria), Vila Nova Goiania, SC Santo André, Hubei Wuhan (China) y Sport Club Ulbra.
