Greetings anonymous editor!

Regarding your edits to St. Rita of Cascia High School, I have reverted your edits.

The quote on the Chicago Catholic Blue is from a coach who, until his death, was a coach in the league. This renders the source a conflict of interest, and in violation of wikipedia's policy on source reliability.

The fact tags are there as a provision of wikipedia's policy on verifiability. Facts must be supported by third party sources which act as evidence that these persons are alumni. Per WP:BURDEN, it is the adding editor's responsibility to provide a source. In the absence of such, the material may be fact tagged (as I chose to do) or it may be outright deleted. It is my hope that the material will be cited soon. It is considered a form of vandalism to remove those tags absent providing citations, or an explanation as to why they shouldn't be there.

The history of this IP is filled with warnings and blocks. Before going this route, I thought I would show some respect, and point out an error by pointing you to this website's policy. I hope this explains my actions, and shows a proper justification for what is going on. Happy editing. LonelyBeacon (talk) 22:13, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Terrible Towel

How do you think the sentence is racist? It's right out of Cope's book, it is not meant to be racist, only to demonstate that fans world-wide, to the point of non-english speaking fans, recognize the Towel. Would it be alright to say something like, "Cope was recognized by Japanese fans as the creator"? Blackngold29 14:17, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moving alumni section on St. Rita of Cascia High School

Hello anonymous editor (again)

I have reverted your edits to this article in accordance with the standard layout of school articles recommended by the Wikischools Project. Notable alumni are generally the last section of a school article, except for references and external links. I invite you to check out other school articles such as : Mt. Carmel High School (Chicago, Illinois), De La Salle Institute, Morgan Park Academy, etc. You will see that there is a fairly standard layout to these articles, and that this is simply not a matter of individual opinions on how to have the article structured.

In general, if you have suggestions for improving the article that go against this, you should take them to the article's talk page and ask for other editors to comment on it. Consensus is key in building articles here. Happy editing! LonelyBeacon (talk) 14:55, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
