deletion of bandersnatch page

Sandahl I am doing a project for a class in which I have to post something to Wikipedia. I chose to add information to my school's (Denison University) webpage about The Bandersnatch, which was not listed under the student organizations on the Denison University page. I decided to add it and was just trying to add relevant information about the organization, which is student-run and a part of the university. I thought that since it is part of Denison, it does not fall under the category of being advertising. However, my page was deleted instantly, even after I removed the portion about the menu. Could you tell me what information I can take off of the page so I can still submit it and receive credit for it for my class? Thanks Comm315ec (talk) 02:04, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't meet Wikipedia guidelines for inclusion WP:SPAM or for notability WP:NOTE, didn't have any non trivial reliable sources and no ghits except the Wikipedia mirror. This might help you.— Ѕandahl 02:27, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of User:Bluejello95

I moved the article to userspace because it seemed to be a userpage. Therefore, criterion A1 doesn't apply. Please restore the page. RJaguar3 | u | t 22:03, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was "I like chocolate" when I deleted it.— Ѕandahl 22:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: About Burns, White & Hickton prod

An anon editor has removed the prod without comment. Just thought you might like to know. — Ѕandahl ♥ 00:31, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the note. They best criteria I can find to apply is whether or not they get significant coverage from third parties. I did some digging online and they do get a surprising amount of mention from third parties. This could just be because the legal issues get coverage and a law firms are usually constantly in the practice of self promotion in order to gain prestige and clients, but I can't be certain since I'm not familiar with the legal field. Some of the most spammy parts of the article are gone too (for example, this version listed all their offices and addresses). I've decided to let it be for now, in part because I simply don't know enough to really judge their notability. --Bachrach44 (talk) 21:03, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Jono Renton

Hello!

I was just updating the wikipedia page of Jono Renton and you deleted it before i had finished updating it with more details, I'll continue to write some more and get some more references to exhibitions and then run it by you before submitting it again. He is a fairly bit photographer in my hometown of Nottingham, but i can see why the page was just deleted with the little information it had!

Best do it in your sandbox and get third party non-trivial references before posting it again. Thanks — Ѕandahl 00:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for handling the AIV report. Chergles (talk) 22:24, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are quite welcome :)— Ѕandahl 22:27, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

lots of moves

Hi! I'm not sure where to discuss. I making the naming of bot generated articles about bats consistent with regards to capitalisation. If there's a problem with that please let me know - it's tedious but the present lists of bats is a mess because non-bot-generated articles are properly named. -- Timberframe (talk) 22:37, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking at your massive move log [1] and thought you might be using a bot. If it's an approved bot then just disregard the message I left.— Ѕandahl 22:40, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, just my fingers. Okay to carry on? another 20 or so to do. I don't want to cause problems elsewhere. -- Timberframe (talk) 22:46, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fast fingers! Carry on then.— Ѕandahl 22:48, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Thanks for patrolling, I don't mind being caught for the right reasons :) -- Timberframe (talk) 23:06, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems I've hit a raw nerve and we now have a potential revert war based on WP:MOS versus personal preference. Could you review the comments here and here and give us some neutral thoughts? -- Timberframe (talk) 10:39, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see where his edit to My Own Private Idaho is vandalism. Little Red Riding Hoodtalk 01:53, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you really think William Shakespeare (26 April 1564 – died 23 April 1616) wrote My Own Private Idaho[2]? He also changed the runtime and dates without an edit summary or discussion.— Ѕandahl 17:08, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
