Hello - You had noted this page as an advertisement. I cited sources such as Treasury & Risk magazine, IndustryWeek magazine, Redmond Magazine, Harvey Spencer associates and provided links to external videos as supporting documentation. What do I need to do to prevent deletion?

AfD for Saquib Ahmed

I cleaned up your AfD nomination Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saquib Ahmed - VoIP and GEO sattellites and listed it in the proper place. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:43, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Ochib (talk)

Sorry

I accidentally reverted your revert on Yung Joc due to an edit clash. My apologies. Antivenin (talk) 17:04, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem. Ochib (talk) 17:05, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for reverting the IP vandal's edits. It is much appreciated! ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 07:05, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

I've just joined Wikipedia. I followed a redlink under the Laurence R. Horn article to create scalar implicature and then a template appeared saying it was nonsense. This is a standard concept in pragmatics, what is the problem? Americanlinguist (talk) 18:59, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No references maybe better to merge the page with Pragmatics Ochib (talk) 19:01, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to add references tomorrow morning. Only one sixth finished. Best Americanlinguist (talk) 19:18, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Created a talk page on the article and added your comments 19:23, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Hello why do you say this is patent nonsense? I have publications in this area (indeed I am speaking at a conference next month) - are you an expert in this area? Americanlinguist (talk) 21:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ochib, please see my comment on WP:AN about your tagging of the scalar implicature page. May I suggest that it's generally not a good idea to csd-tag new pages within the first minute of their existence, even with quite obviously bad ones, but especially not when it's an article on a specialised subject that you don't really understand but the author identifies themselves as an expert?
