Easton (grid reference ST512477) is a small village in Somerset, 2 miles north-west of Wells. It is on the A371 between Westbury-sub-Mendip and Wells.

Easton is believed to mean 'The enclosure by the water' from the Old English eas and tun.[1]

Nearby are the Ebbor Gorge Site of Special Scientific Interest and Wookey Hole.

The church of St Paul, by Richard Carver, dates from 1843. It is a Grade II listed building.[2]
