Madison is a passenger rail station along the Shore Line East commuter railroad between Stamford and New London, Connecticut. Madison is also a station on the northern section of the Northeast Corridor. Amtrak does not stop at this station but Amtrak trains can often be seen passing this station.[1] On July 28th, 2008, a new station with a high-level platform and commuter shelter area opened for service.[2]
