Also, please do not refer to me here or elsewhere by my previous username as I changed names due to real-world off-wiki harassment that remains a concern. Due to the issues that caused my name change and other matters I may be slow in responding to messages and I may even stop editing for long stretches of time. mass-welcoming IPs

Ah yes, about that. Could you please stop your old habit of mass-welcoming IPs? I meant to tell you earlier, but you used to revert anything I wrote on your user talk, or reacted with a defensive barrage of meaningless diffs, then you left, then you returned, then you left again, now you're back again. So I'm telling you now: Having seen it at least twice because I still regularly edit by IP, like I promised I'd continue to do in my RfC: It's a bit annoying even in and of itself; and seeing that you're signing all of them with your username, I get the impression that you're actually trying to advertise yourself. Also, don't you have anything better to do with your time? Why not use that same time to look up sources and help rescue an article? Generally, I don't think welcoming new users or IPs is a problem. Other Wikipedias have bots doing it. At least in this case there's a friendly human being to talk to. Anyway, Everyme has a point. "A Nobody" is a strange name to see at the end of a welcome message. I don't know why you chose it, but the 'crats are unlikely to grant you another rename. I suggest you create an alternate account for welcoming and cross-link their userpages for transparency's sake.--chaser - t 02:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have been spreading Halloween cheer. I've been searching for folks that wish to support Halloween as a WikiProject, as I feel many Halloween-related articles do not fall clearly under the purview of WikiProject Holidays or WikiProject Horror, and the former is barely active regardless.
