Mr. Mobi Dyck Nide from the ministry of tourism provides tours of the area's natural beauty and provides cutural tours where you may experience the unique customs and rituals of the Tenakourouites. These tours are at no cost as they were funded by the estate of Jin Sun, a commerciallist who relocated to the area. Prior to his death Mr. Jin Sun conducted the tours himself but was killed in a ghastly bus accident in which he and 12 tourists died. Today the tour includes transportation from the capital, meals, seatbelts and vacinations. For groups of 2 tours may be arranged by contacting Mr. Nide at 00226 -70 64 24 10. He may also be reached at mobi_nide2007@yahoo.com. His tours are delightful. Be sure to ask about his service with Greenpeace. Ted Nugent is a frequent visitor to this area.
