Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh (previously under the working title as Drake and Josh: Best Christmas Ever) is an upcoming Holiday Season 2008 movie, and off-project movie of the show Drake & Josh from over a year. The movie is a two-hour made for TV movie starring Drake Bell as Drake Parker and Josh Peck as Josh Nichols from the popular Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. The movie will be aired on Nickelodeon during the " 2008 Ha! Ha! Holidays" on December 5, 2008 as an Nickelodeon Original Movie.[1] A sneek peak of the movie was shown during the premiere of True Jackson, VP.
Production
A brand new Drake & Josh TV movie tentatively entitled "Merry Christmas, Drake and Josh" began production in July 2008, with its premiere to be December 5, 2008. Creator Dan Schneider is set to return as executive producer, with Marjorie Cohn and Lauren Levine co-executive producing. Michael Grossman is set to direct the feature. The film centers around Drake and Josh, who are working as Santa's helpers in a mall, as they promise a little girl that her foster parents and siblings will have "the Best Christmas ever" — and then try to fulfill that promise. The trailer for the movie has been shown on Nickelodeon.
Plot Synopsis
The film centers around Drake and Josh, who are working as Santa's helpers in a mall, as they promise an unfortunate little girl (who is Drake's cousin's friend) that her foster parents and siblings will have "the best Christmas ever"— and then try to fulfill that promise. In the sneek peek, Drake and Josh are confronted by a parole officer.
