Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq ISLE), incorporated in 1990 and headquartered in Biloxi, MS, operates gambling casinos and associated entertainment and lodging facilities in the U.S. and abroad. Isle of Capri was the first gaming establishment to trade on the NASDAQ.

Most of its U.S. casinos operate under the name 'Isle of Capri' and have a tropical [sic] island theme. They are located in Lake Charles and Bossier City, Louisiana; Lula, Biloxi, Vicksburg, and Natchez, Mississippi; Kansas City and Boonville, Missouri; Bettendorf, Davenport, and Marquette, Iowa; and Black Hawk, Colorado (57% owner).

It owns casinos in the Bahamas: Freeport, Grand Bahama; and England (through a 67% share in Blue Chip Casinos, PLC: Dudley and Walsall, Wolverhampton.

It also owns and runs a parimutuel horse racing track in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Its Biloxi casino (but not its hotel) was destroyed and its Lake Charles facilities damaged by Hurricane Katrina.[1] [2]
