Grey Tuesday is February 24, 2004 and is a day of coordinated civil disobedience: websites will post DJ Danger Mouse's The Grey Album on their site for 24 hours in protest of EMI's attempts to censor this work.

This unique protest signals a refusal by a section of Internet society to let major label lawyers control what musicians can create and what the public can hear.

More than 250 web sites are participating, with roughly 184 hosting the album for download and more than 80 turning grey in sympathy.
