History

In 1995, Frédéric Lasnier (Pentalog President & Chief Executive Officer) decides to continuously open the company assets to employees. Since 1997 he tries to develop the first international customers. For the year 2000, exports account for 25 % of the company sales turnover. In 1998, it is time for the project The Port to start. Frédéric Lasnier starts with an increase of capital and sets the conditions for the company success, he recruits the necessary staff, and implement both an operation unit and a research unit in Artificial Intelligence in Eastern Europe.

  • As a SCSC (Software and Computing Services Company), Pentalog High Tech proposes two different contractual ways like technical consulting and turnkey projects.

Pentalog High Tech help to set up and administrate networks and telecom resources. The company is also develop softwares, run and administrate help-with-decision-making platforms, ERP solutions.

  • Its management model is based upon the anglo-saxon consulting firms. Many employees are shareholders of the company. They together control almost 60% of the capital. This partnership policy is the financial expression of our "services spirit". Each member of the team is personally involved in the future of our business.

Depending on the role our client gives us, we could be a hireling hired to boost the software strategy, or an advocate in charge of negociations with third partners.

  • International business represents 40% of our global income, and 80% of the team members speaks two or more languages.

After many experiences in North America and Western Europe, Pentalog High Tech is now particularly involved in emerging countries such as Eastern and African ones. Wherever our clients go, we go with (Romania, Bulgaria, Kenya, Myanmar...). In order to propose to our clients a longer help, we can provide them with a dedicated workforce consisting in consultants and developers from our offshore unit, located in Romania, and a new one, in the Republic of Moldova. The costs of this unit fit more the economic reality of emerging countries. That means we can be part of the acceleration of our clients' ROI and give them better chances of success.
