Sir Moneybags, is a character in the Spyro the Dragon series. He is a rich, dishonest and greedy Avalarian Bear who loves to con people out of their gems. He made his debut in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage.

Moneybags gives Spyro new abilities and open passages for him when Spyro pays him enough gems. Moneybags teaches Spyro the following moves:

  • Climb
  • Swim (underwater)
  • Headbash

He also opens bridges and passageways to new levels.

Trivia

  • In most games, Moneybags appears as an upper class British snob who travels the lands looking for oppotunities to con people out of their gems. However, in A Hero's Tail, he is a Eastern-European Gypsy who owns several shops in the Dragon Realms.
  • Moneybags was voiced by Neil Ross.
