Within gaming there are two prominent people called Steve Jackson.


Steve Jackson (USA)

Steve Jackson founded Steve Jackson Games in the early 80s, a game publishing company that released titles like Car Wars, The Fantasy Trip, O.G.R.E., GURPS and many others.

The company won a case against the US Secret Service, after a raid in their offices in 1990. The Electronic Frontier Foundation was created at that time to address this and similar cases.


Steve Jackson (UK)

Steve Jackson is a games reviewer and writer is one of the best known authors in the gaming industry.

In the early 80s, he founded the company Games Workshop with Ian Livingstone, and the two created the line of the Fighting Fantasy Game Books published by Penguin Books.

Jackson now works at Lionhead Studios LTD, which he founded with Peter Molyneux.
