Sir Abdool Razack Mohamed is a former key minister in the post-independence cabinet of Mauritius. It is his support for the Labour party that has brought independence to Mauritius. He is said to be the one who had the idea of the colours of the Mauritian flag.

Leader of the C.A.M . He has been an MP in Port-Louis for decades and Minister of Housing and Land Development after independence. One of the key streets of Port-Louis is named after him.

His son and grandson have been MP in the National Assembly.
