Founded in 1978 by the poet, Sidney Lea, New England Review (NER) is a quarterly literary journal published by Middlebury College. It publishes poetry, fiction, and a wide variety of non-fiction in each issue. NER conisistently publishes work from established writers as well as work from exciting new writers. It has published poems by many who have gone on to win major awards such as the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, and the National Book Critics Circle Award. It is currently edited by Stephen Donadio and C. Dale Young (Poetry).
