January 22 - Tsunami Relief concert held at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales - the largest live music event in the UK since the Live Aid concert of 1985. June 21 - On the day Billy Corgan released his debut solo album The Future Embrace, he has revealed that he wants to reform his popular alternative rock group The Smashing Pumpkins, which disbanded on December 2, 2000.
