Red Ranger is a designation given to one character in every season of the Power Rangers TV series. The Red Ranger is usually the leader of the team, and they also receive the most powerful weapons. The Red Ranger's main weapon traditionally is a sword, but some have used blasters. It is also the tradition since Power Rangers In Space for the Red Ranger to have Battlizer Armor.

Red Rangers

Jason Lee Scott and Rocky DeSantos are the Red Power Rangers. Their main weapon is the Power Sword, but they also carry a Blade Blaster. Jason also temporarily carried the Green Ranger Powers, adding the shield and Dragon Dagger of the Green Dino Ranger to the Red Ranger arsenal. Jason later transferred his powers to Rocky. Their Zords included the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord, the Red Dragon Thunderzord, the Ape Ninjazord, and the Red Shogunzord. Rocky also had a vehicle: the Red Shark Cycle. These powers were lost when the Power Coins were destroyed, but Jason later returned in Red Ranger form for Forever Red. Jason also became one of the Other Rangers, while Rocky went on to become a Blue Ranger.

Aurico is the Red Alien Ranger. His weapon is a sword/blaster, and his zord is the Red Battle Borg. Aside from Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers, Aurico made appearances in Rangers From Two Worlds Countdown to Destruction and Forever Red.

Thomas Oliver is ZEO Ranger 5 (Red). His weapons include the ZEO Sword, as well as the standard Blade and Pistol. He also rides a ZEO Jet Cycle, and his Zords are ZEO Zord V, Red Battlezord, and Super ZEO Zord V. The ZEO Powers were later replaced by Turbo, but Tommy returned as ZEO Ranger 5 in Forever Red.

Tommy and Theodore Jay Jarvis Johnson are the Red Turbo Rangers. Their weapons include the standard Turbo Blaster and Sword, and also the Lightning Sword. They also have the Red Turbo Cart as a vehicle, and T.J. later obtains the Lightning Cruiser. Their Zords include Red Lightning and Lightning Fire Tamer. The Turbo Powers were destroyed by Divatox, but T.J. returned as the Red Turbo Ranger in Forever Red.

Andros is the Red Space Ranger. His weapons include the Spiral Saber and Astro Blaster, but he also possesses the Battlizer in his arsenal. This allows him to use the Red Battlizer Armor in battle, and he also has the Red Galaxy Glider as a vehicle. Andros' Zords include the Delta Megazord, as well as the Mega V1-Robo Voyager. Andros continues to serve the postition as the Red Space Ranger, and returned in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy to help the Galaxy Rangers, and in Forever Red.

Leo Corbett is the Red Galaxy Ranger. His arsenal includes the Red Quasar Saber, as well as the Red Quasar Launcer and Magna Talon Transdagger. He also has the Red Armor Battlizer, and can enhance his powers with the Lights of Orion. Leo also has several vehicles: the Red Astro Cycle, Red Jet Jammer, and Capsular Cycle. His Zord is the Lion Galactabeast, and Leo made two appearances after giving up his Ranger status. The first was in Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue, and the second in Forever Red.

Carter Grayson is the Red Lightspeed Ranger. He carries as weapons the standard Rescue Blaster, as well as the Rescue Drill and Red V-Lancer. He also has the Trans Armor Cycle, which can transform into body armor for him, and the Mobile Armor Vehicle and Red Lightspeed Cycle. Carter's Zords include Pyro Rescue One, Rail Rescue One, and Omega Zord One. Carter left the position, but returned in Power Rangers: Time Force and Forever Red.

Wesley Collins is the Red Time Force Ranger. His weapons are as follows: V1 Weapon, Electro Booster, and Battle Warrior Armor. His vehicles include the Strata and Red Vector Cycles. His Zord is Time Flier One, and Wes continues to serve as Red Ranger by leading the Silver Guardians. He appeared to help out fellow Rangers in Power Rangers: Wild Force and in Forever Red.

Cole Evans is the Red Wild Force Ranger. In battle, he calls upon the Red Crystal Saber, Red Lion Fang, Lion Blaster, and Falconator. He also possesses the Animarium Armor, and calls upon the Red Savage Cycle and Wild Force Rider as vehicles. His Zords include the Red Lion and Falcon, as well as the Green Gorilla. Cole surrendered his powers and has not appeared since. He was part of a team of Red Rangers in Forever Red.

Shane Clarke is the Red Wind Ranger. His arsenal includes the standard Ninja Sword and Laser Blaster, as well as his own Hawk Blaster. Shane also has a set of Battlizer Armor obtained from an alien life form, and has the Red Tsunami Cycle and Red Ninja Glider as his vehicles. Shane's Zord is the Falcon, and he made an appearance in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder before losing his powers for good.

Conner McKnight is the Red Dino Thunder Ranger. His weapons include the Tyranno Staff and standard Thundermax Saber. He also has a Red Raptor Rider and Raptor Cycle. His Zords include the Tyrannozord and the various auxiallury Zords. Conner sacrificed his powers, and is no longer the Red Dino Thunder Ranger. Jack Landors is the Red S.P.D. Ranger. His weapons are the Delta Blasters, and he has the genetic power of molecularization. He also has the Red Patrol Cycle, and has as his Zord the Red Delta Runner.
