Hooking Up is a collection of essays and short stories by American author Tom Wolfe.

The title stems from the current trend among youths wherein the 'Hookup' (casual sex) comes before any form of Dating or Courtship. The difference between a Hookup and a One-night stand is that the parties involved may have more than one sexual encounter.
