Jon Evans is a kid from Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in the city with drugs and guns. He is now a 14 year old boy, that plays soccer for the Baltimore Bays. He is the starting right midfielder. He has scored many goals and had many assists. He also plays for Parkville High School. He scored the final goal of the season in double overtime, beating Patapsco 4-3.

Jon Evans is a Canadian author. He grew up in Waterloo, Ontario, and is a graduate of the University of Waterloo.

He won the 2005 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel from the Crime Writers of Canada for his book Dark Places.
