Mělník is a town in the Czech Republic, Central Bohemian Region. It lies at the confluence of the Labe and Vltava rivers, north of Prague.

Near Mělník there is a high power medium wave transmitter which uses a free-standing lattice tower as antenna, the RKS Mělník-Chloumek.
