Silver Surfer

The Silver Surfer is a comic book character, part of the Marvel Comics universe. Created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee he first appeared in Fantastic Four #48.

Formerly known as Norrin Radd, resident of the idyllic planet Shalla Bal, his body was turned silver and he was given a silver surfboard and was told to cruise the cosmos in search of planets for Galactus to consume. He surfs through the galaxy at speeds faster than light.

The Silver Surfer is a very powerful character who has taken on the likes of The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, and The Champion and defeated them all.

His powers include the ability to travel far faster than the speed of light, an almost indestructable body, and control over cosmic radiation (the power cosmic) that enables him to do anything from shoot energy bolts from hands to transmute matter.
