Bill Mulder
William Mulder (1936-1995) is a fictional character on the 1993-2002 television series The X-Files, father of Fox Mulder, main character of the series. He was played by Peter Donat (as an older man) and Dean Aylesworth (as a younger man).
William Mulder was killed by Alex Krycek in the season 2 finale, "Anasazi". He appeared several times afterword via flashback. He was involved in the Syndicate.
