Final Fantasy 1987-1994 is a Best Of, arranged, remixed and previously unreleased tracks soundtrack album of video game music from the Final Fantasy I to VI computer role-playing games, produced by Square Co., Ltd.. The album contains a selection of musical tracks from different albums of the games plus unreleased tracks and four vocals, arranged, remixed and performed by Nobuo Uematsu, Shiro Hamaguchi and others. Vocals were performed by various singers for "The Legend of The Great Forest" & "My Home, Sweet Home" and Svetla Krasteva for "Aria di Mezzo Carattere". "Dear Friends" is played on the piano by Toshiyuki Mori. It was first released on November 26, 1994, as a limited edition, and subsequently re-released on December 10, 1994, as the normal edition, and on October 1, 2004, as a re-release, by NTT Publishing Co., Ltd.. The limited edition release bears the catalog number PSCN-9101, the normal edition release bears the catalog number PSCN-5011, and the re-release bears the catalog number NTCP-5011.
