Saltovo-Mayaki

Name given by archeologists to the early medieval culture of the Pontic steppe region roughly between the Don and the Dnieper Rivers. Saltovo-Mayaki culture was a melting pot of Onogur, Khazar, Pecheneg, Magyar, Alan, and Slavic influences.
