Matthew Hilger is an American professional poker player from Atlanta, Georgia, and the author of Internet Texas Holdem: Winning Strategies from an Internet Pro (ISBN 0974150207.)

Hilger cashed in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event in both 2004 (33rd) and 2005 (332nd.)

Hilger is also the creator of the website www.internettexasholdem.com, and was wearing a top advertising the site in the 2005 WSOP Main Event when he eliminated Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson.

He also writes regular articles for Card Player magazine, and is working on a second book.

As of 2005, his total live tournament winnings exceed $125,000.
