Takeshi's Castle (風雲!たけし城) was a Japanese game show that aired in the late 1980s. It featured the Japanese actor, Kitano Takeshi as the Count Takeshi.

In the United States, it airs as Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (also known as MXC) on Spike TV. The American version provides dubbing and commentary in English that effectively spoofs the original show. In England, there is a dubbed version that is aired as Challenge! TV, and Germany also had a dubbed version (DSF).

The show pits teams of both men and women against each other in different physical tasks, often risking injury. Such tasks may include crossing over a bridge, jumping on a circling spoon, or trying to bring down walls among many other challenges. There have also been special competitions such as the couples challenge, the children's competiton and the international challenge (featuring all countries except Japan).

At the end of each show, the ten most painful moments of the show are chosen.

In the American version of the show, each contestant has been nicknamed by the show's translators after a famous celebrity. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see participants with names of famous athletes or Hollywood stars competing on the United States version.

The show started airing on Spike TV (then called The New TNN) in April of 2003.
