Ben Shemen (בן שמן) is a moshav in Israel approximately 4 km east of Lod. First founded in 1911, it was refounded in 1952. Today it has a population of about 400. There are houses in Ben Shemen built by Bezalel Academy of Art and Design founder Boris Shatz.

Ben-Shemen is also a name of a large agricultural boarding school, Youth Village Ben-Shemen, situated right near by the moshav. The school is one of the oldest in Israel, founded in 1927 by Dr. Lehman, hosts primary and secondary schools, numerous agricultural facilities and a zoo.
