Cintecele Diavolui, or 'Devils Songs' as it translates to in English, is a side project of Mortiis. The name is Romanian and is derived from Mortiis' girlfriend at the time.

The album 'the Devils Songs' was composed using synthesizers, much like Mortiis earlier Era 1 work; they also contained no lyrics.

Cintecele Diavolui was disbanded to make time for Mortiis' main project of the same name.
