Please post new messages to the bottom of my talk page (click here). I will respond on yours unless you ask me not to; please respond on mine so that I get notified via a new message box as I tend not to watch other people's user pages.
Please remember the five pillars and, in particular, please be civil.
I notice that you gave this user a warning earlier. This person comes in from the whole range of 4.242.*.* and edits. While one or two of the edits are useful most of the work is vandalistic in nature. For some strange reason they hit Circuit City and Pumpkin pie with edits that are easy to see. The big problem is that they also make sneaky edits to pages of the type 1986 to 1987. With the exception of someone from that range who was making proper additions yesterday I have taken to blocking the IP as soon as a vandalistic edit is made without a warning. Hummel
You're welcome. Would you be able to look at the weasel words that have crept into Claude Debussy, especially near the end? Just one book source is cited there. Graham/pianoman87 talk 00:42, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Thank you!
Thanks again! :) ➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 11:38, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

Spam links
Hi Robert! Yes, they're somewhere in that gray area between spam and semi-useful. My instinct is to take them out, as is my instinct with anything that gets added by copy-and-paste to many different articles, especially by an anon that does nothing else. Since Raul has already done it--saves us the trouble! Take care, Antandrus (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2005 (UTC)

Wneh reverting vandals at frequently visited pages please always check the history: vandals often flock; see, e.g., this [your revert]. mikka (t) 19:42, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

Cheers thanks for giving me a nice welcome. —preceding unsigned comment by Mickyr (talk • contribs) November 6 2005
hi
Thanks, Robert, but I'm more interested in Bach than in Wikipedia. I think the last straw was when someone posted a giant image of a scrotum on my user page (7 November). Someone high up has erased the history of that, it appears. Tony 11:07, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Can someone tell me why there is a listing about e4strategies here? Looks negative Just wondering —the preceding unsigned comment is by 68.188.137.31 (talk • contribs) 7 December 2005
- Where? Sorry, you haven't really given me enough to know what you mean - can you be more specific? I would like to help if I can. --RobertG ♬ talk 16:37, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, you mean here? Yes, I can explain that. The user in question uploaded a spam link to Wikipedia by creating a new page. I deleted the page as spam, and since I was not going to be around much immediately thereafter thought I would alert other administrators, particularly in view of that user's subsequently abusive behaviour. Please can you explain your reasoning for deleting a section from the Administrators' noticeboard without any comment? --RobertG ♬ talk 16:59, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Ah
... that explains it. And I really should do some work instead of RC patrol ... have a great day! Antandrus (talk) 17:42, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Vlad is glad!
It says Vladimir Horowitz, on all of my album covers too... so yeah. Hamster Sandwich 10:51, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Can you look into this?
I just welcomed EdmundWang and then noticed that there's a user just a few minutes earlier Edmundwang. I'm not sure if this is suspicious or not, but do you mind looking into it for me when you get a chance? --ViolinGirl♪ 16:39, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, yeah...I wasn't sure what was going on. I'll keep an eye on it, but since I'm not an admin, I can't do that much about it. Thanks for helping me! --ViolinGirl♪ 22:29, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
News from Esperanza
Hello, fellow Esperanzians! This is just a friendly reminder that elections for Administrator General and two advisory council positions have just begun. Voting will last until Friday, December 30, so make sure you exercise your right to vote! Also, I'm pleased to announce the creation of the Esperanza mailing list. I urge all members to join; see Wikipedia:Esperanza/Contact for more information. All you need to do is email me and I will activate your account. This will be a great way to relax, stay in touch, and hear important announcements. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?)

Hi Robert, please help
I would like to request your help with serious NPOV and verifiability problems on the Arabic numerals page. I have mentioned it, yet again, here Wikipedia:Wikiquette_alerts#December_17. Please help me recruit as many neutral and well-intending editors to the page to counter the strong and manifest bias. Regards, and thanks. csssclll (14:43, 17 December 2005 (UTC))
Innocent Eve
Why did you delete my entry for Innocent Eve? It follows all of the rules, I'm very confused, it wasn't a 'test' like you said in your deletion. —the preceding unsigned comment is by Xdcdave (talk • contribs) 20 December 2005

MERRY CHRISTMAS, RobertG! Hope it's a wonderful one! (happy New Year, too!)--ViolinGirl♪ 15:16, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi, RobertG!
Merry Christmas!!
I'm mainly interested in modern classical music, and it's nice to share such information with others. JohnWYC
Hello
Hi, you left a message about a page I began, the page was titled Seibertron. To answer your question, I am not a bot, but my name is Big Bot because that is my name on Seibertron.com. We at Seibertron.com had noticed that Newgrounds.com and a few other sites had created pages about themselves, and we decided, being one of the largest web sites devoted to the Transformers fanbase, that we should have our own wiki page.
I also noticed that soon after the page was created, it was marked for deletion. I would like to have that mark removed, as I understand that when the page first started, there was little content, but if you return to the page now, you can see that it has grown. The members of Seibertron have started collaborating, trying to fill the page with all of our importand information. I know that you a moderator, so we'd appreciate it if you'd remove the mark.
Thanks,
Big Bot
