The Trash Can Sinatras are a Scottish band who began in 1987. Their largest hit single was "Obscurity Knocks" taken from their first album Cake. I've Seen Everything was released in the UK, USA and Japan in 1993 followed in 1996 by the UK-only album A Happy Pocket. After their record company Go! Discs folded, the band continued to record and play live issuing various CD's and demos via their website to a small but devoted band of followers. They are still together and play live regularly. With the recent release of Weightlifting, they completed a 25 date US tour in October/November 2004. They are now generally known as 'Trashcan Sinatras'.
