Suzi Lovegrove (died aged 31) was a HIV-positive Australian woman, whose battle with the disease was chronicled in the late-1980s documentary "Suzi's Story". Her son Troy was affected with the disease while still in the womb, and died at the age of 8 in 1995.

Suzi Lovegrove was part-time American Actress known as Suzi Sidewinder. In 1983, she had a small part in the film 'Get Crazy', playing Nada Band. It was post this movie, on a flight between America and Australia where she met her future husband, Vince Lovegrove.

Vince was the long-time manager of the Australian band, Divinyls.

Suzy and Vince went on to get married which gradually took him away from his role as Divinyls Manager, causing a rift between Vince and the band members. After Suzy gave birth to their son, Troy, Vince contemplated resigning as the Divinyls manager. His decision was cemented when, after recurring 'spots' appeared on Suzy's back, she was diagnosed with AIDS. Their son Troy was subsequently diagnosed with AIDS.

This cemented Vince's decision (and need) to leave his post as Divinyls manager and he subsequently resigned. Ill words followed, attributed to Vince's grief at Suzy and Troy's diagnosis and prior to Suzy's death, they were both involved in a mad persuit to serve court papers on the Divinyls founders, Chrissy Amphlett & Mark McEntee. It is reported Suzy threatened to bite Chrissy, her one time friend on this occasion.

Suzy sadly died at age 31 while her son Troy, passed away at age 8.
