Niagara Parks Police Service

The Niagara Parks Police (NPP) provides policing services for Niagara Parks Commission in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Fort Erie. NPP was first established in 1887.

Th NPP officers are unarmed, but are trained and armed with power of regular police officers:

  • management of the vehicle and pedestrian traffic
  • maintaining the peace
  • ensuring the safe return of lost property to its rightful owners
  • discretionary enforcement required of the Criminal Code of Canada and other federal and provincial statutes

The NPP HQ is in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
