In Greek mythology, Deimos ("dread") was the personification of dread. He was the son of Ares and Aphrodite. He and his brother, Phobos, and Enyo (not a brother), accompanied his father into battle. His Roman equivalent was Fuga. Asaph Hall, who discovered the moons of Mars, named one Deimos.
