In general, the MediaWiki namespace contains three basic kinds of things:

  1. MediaWiki namespace text — the text that is used in the user interface (the links in the sidebar on the left, for example)
  2. MediaWiki custom messages — messages such as those to mark stubs, disambiguation pages, controversial issues, copyright violations, etc.
  3. A set of navigational elements that are inserted into articles using {{msg:...}}.

Since the number of the third kind of module is ever-increasing, this page attempts to keep track of them in a structured manner. When you create a new MediaWiki element of this kind, please add it to this page.
