Tha Carter, Vol. 2 is the fifth album by rap artist Lil' Wayne, released in December 2005. Several tracks on the album have guest apperances from veteran rappers Baby aka The Birdman and Kurupt, as well as Curren$y and Nikki, who are members of Lil' Wayne's Young Money clique. This is also the first album Lil Wayne has branched out with different producers and former in house producer Mannie Fresh didn't contribute any tracks to the album. The first single is Fireman and is currently one of the top singles in the country. Lil Wayne announced that the next single from the album will be Grown Man featuring Currency. Lil Wayne's current single, "Fireman", holds the charts at #50. This is the highest first week from the Multi-Platinum rapper from the N.O.
