The Republic of Užice was a short-lived state that existed in Autumn of 1941 in the western part of Nazi-occupied Serbia. The Republic was established by the fighters of the Partisan resistance movement and its capital was in the town of Užice.

The Republic of Užice comprised almost entire western Serbia and its population was more than one million people. It was located between the river Sava in the north, the river Drina in the west, the river Morava in the east, and the Sandžak region in the south.

In November 1941, the German troops occupied this territory again, while the majority of Partisan forces escaped towards Bosnia.
