Matt Schaub

Matthew Rutledge Schaub (born June 25, 1981 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons, where he is Michael Vick's backup.

He attended The University of Virginia where he was star, winning Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year honors in 2002 and setting several school records.

Schaub was drafted by the Falcons with the 90th overall choice in the third round of the 2004 NFL draft. He saw limited playing time during his rookie season, starting one game and appearing in five others. Following the Falocns dissapointing season in 2005, many want to Matt Schaub as the Falcons starting quarterback.
