This is an episode list of the long-running animated series The Simpsons. Dates shown are original air dates.

The shorts

These are the thirty second long shorts, called "bumpers", that aired before and after commercial breaks on The Tracey Ullman Show. The bumpers featured The Simpsons only during the first three seasons of the show, from 1987 to 1989.

Fearing that she'd be emotionally shattered if he left her, the zoo staff offers Bart anything he wants in order, and he reluctantly accepts, after realizing just how committed to that promise the zoo is. But when Bart begins to bond and sympathize with the mother chimp, Marge becomes less than enthused about the entire thing, and strives to regain her son.
HABF08 Homer Simpson, This is Your Wife Homer and Marge go on a wife swapping reality show, where Marge is wooed away from Homer.
HABF09 Million Dollar Abie When Lisa becomes the victim of the nerd vacuum, caused by Uter's visa expiring and Martin taking a semester at seas, she experiences magnified bullying at school. Complaining to Homer and Marge only yields futile psychiatric help which does nothing to solve the problem at hand, so she goes to the next closest thing to an adult she knows: old people. Namely, her grandfather, Abe, who tells her of his boxing days during the depression, and agrees to help her train to beat the bullies, once and for all.

Eyes - a mutated Blinky the three-eyed fish turns man-eating in a Jaws parody, sending Homer, Chief Wiggum, Professor Frink and Captain McAllister on a voyage to stop the carnage.

Simpsons Alternative UK Christmas Message (2004)

This 157 second animated short was specially commissioned by Britain's Channel 4 as part of their acclaimed annual "Alternative Christmas Message". It aired on December 25, 2004 at 3:PM, 4:05PM, 6:10PM, 8:25PM and 10:35PM London time (15:00, 16:05, 18:10, 20:25 and 22:35 UTC) in part to celebrate Channel 4's newly acquired rights to The Simpsons. More important, the first showing competed with the Queen's annual Royal Christmas Message, which was broadcast on rival networks ITV and BBC at the same time. The show humorously purports to be breaking the fourth wall to present the Simpson family as speakers in a live studio format, similar to Marge's audience request prior to the story segments in several Treehouse of Horror episodes. Marge attempts to stick to her pre-scripted speech about British subjects whilst predictably the chaos of the Simpson family ensues.
